About Vers Tech Science Co.
Initially Vers Tech is mainly a retailer of chemicals for electronics industries, acting as a distributor providing highly specialized chemicals from Japan. Among others, our Photoresist for displays account for the lion's share of the global volume. As PC industry matures, Vers Tech entered the field of vibration control system. Our services include vibration measurement, problem solving and the supply of vibration damping materials. Due to our abundant resources, the pioneer of the industry in Taiwan --ITRI-- is among our customers.
Given the outsourcing trend of manufacturing sector, Vers Tech decided not to follow suit and have been actively trying to capitalize on our excellent resources to move into new areas of businesses in Taiwan. Due to the fact that medical aids is still a under- developed field, we would like to leverage on our current products-- Shock Absorption Foam, Elastic Foam Board, etc. --to develop medical orthoses and increase added values. We also have been searching for professionals from medical fields to help on assessment for new projects. In recent years we have been focusing on the shock absorption management for the foot and developed a series of product lines on materials for insoles, such as the high-tech-low-temperature plastic materials line which includes shape duplicate material, shape memory foam and shape duplicate plastic; and the ultra-light materials line which includes light stiff board and ultra light and ultra thin carbon fiber.
In October 2002 Vers Tech opened a branch in the first innovation incubation center set up by a hospital -- Mackay Memorial Hospital Innovation & Incubation center. We are always actively cooperating with the staff of the hospital to leverage on the materials and technology of Vers Tech to develop high tech medical aids and thus improve our competitive edge.
